It has been made possible by regulatory bodies as to avoid wastage of time. B Tech first year is similar to what students have learned while doing the diploma.<\/p>\n<p>So, if anyone who is dreaming of becoming an engineer, and has completed their diploma is eligible for <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-lateral-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>B.Tech lateral entry programs<\/strong><\/a>. Following are some examples: <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-mechanical-lateral-entry.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mechanical Engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-civil-lateral-entry.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Civil Engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-ece-lateral-entry.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Electronics &amp; communication engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-automobile-lateral-entry.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mechanical &amp; Automobile Engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/b-tech-cse-lateral-entry.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Computer Science Engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although, the course path for <strong>B.Tech LE is different from regular B.Tech<\/strong> as former is made more as per industry standard and curriculum keeps on getting updated.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility_for_B_Tech_Lateral_Entry_Second_Year\"><\/span>Eligibility for B Tech Lateral Entry (Second Year)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If anyone is planning to go for <strong>B.Tech LE (Lateral Entry)<\/strong> then you must have successfully completed a <strong>3 year diploma in engineering<\/strong>. A candidate must have scored atleast 50% aggregate in 3-year diploma. Most of the students do diploma after class 10th. Although, students who have completed <strong>diploma after 12th also is also eligible for B.tech lateral entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"BTech_Lateral_Entry_Programmes_Admission_Process_Second_Year\"><\/span>B.Tech Lateral Entry Programmes Admission Process (Second Year)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Usually, <strong>LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test)<\/strong> takes place to <strong>get direct entry into second year<\/strong> that is lateral entry. Although, for <a href=\"https:\/\/btecheve.lingayasvidyapeeth.edu.in\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AICTE approved universities for engineering<\/a>, Admission process is simple as it doesn\u2019t involve any entrance exam. Candidates interested can directly connect with the <strong>AICTE Approved university<\/strong> and can fill the application form along with the fee payment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Facilities_Given_to_the_Students\"><\/span>Facilities Given to the Students?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>B.Tech LE (Lateral Entry) students<\/strong> get direct entry into second year. This is the only difference. University conducts classes that are held by industry experts. These classes are also recorded and shared on Learning Management System. Classes are conducted in University as well as in regional offices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lateral entry students<\/strong> can attend regular classes with regular students.
