As per Supreme court orders, they have clearly mentioned that b tech in distance mode is not allowed. This judgment came as some universities were providing b tech in distance education mode whereas it is a practical subject. Due to this, 80% engineers were getting unemployed as they do not have the requisite skills and knowledge to implement in real world.

AICTE and UGC clearly confirmed that B Tech Distance is not a valid course. Universities of India are not approved to run such courses in their college academics. The Supreme court ordered that without AICTE approval, no university can run b tech courses. Although, there are many universities in India which are fooling students on the name of Engineering education.

It’s really high time for students of India to understand the difference between expectation vs. reality. Yes, The reality of b tech distance education courses is totally the opposite. It’s a scam on the name of education. If you are pursuing or planning to pursue such scam courses then your degree also will be invalid.
